Allow me to let you in on some super simple, but effective tips on how to keep your curly locks looking (and feeling) luscious and bouncy all summer long.
HYDRATE! We can never stop encouraging how important it is to simply drink water. :)
Do not over-wash your hair. Opt for a non-lathering shampoo to avoid breakage when your strands rub together, and use a co-wash cleansing conditioner between shampoo sessions.
Apply our best-selling Elixir 11 onto damp hair after showering to lock in moisture while applying anti-aging properties that protect your hair from split ends and sun damage. You can never go wrong with Elixir!
Use a scrunchy :) If you're going to wear your hair up and off your neck, try to use a silk scrunchy band, as elastic hair ties can pull and rip off strands of your hair. Lock in your up-do with some bobby pins for extra hold.
If you have highlights, don't forget to use a bond-building treatment like the Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector! Use this once per week for visibly stronger hair. Pair it with Olaplex shampoo and conditioner for even better and longer lasting results.
